Make sure that the supply to be made has a 2A power. Module SIM808 is programmed using AT commands.
The power button turns the module's power on and off. Power Led turns on when the Power is turned ON. In addition, to start the module, it is activated by pressing the button on the side of the module for 2 seconds. The SIM slot is located under the Module.
If the GSM, GPS antennas and SIM card are installed properly, the LED will blink every 3 seconds. This is an indication that the Module is connected to the network. So you can make a call or make other operations.
The module, which also includes a vibration motor, works with 5V and is controlled by the pin located in the upper right corner of the module. SIM808, which has Bluetooth on it, is controlled by AT commands.
Communication is done with the SIM8080 module Arduino and Raspberry pi using Rx-Tx and GND pins. The issue to be considered here; If your processor system uses 1.25V / 3.3V / 5V, you must connect the VMCU pin to the 1.25V / 3.3V or 5V supply of this system. Because the level converter on the SIM808 module enables the VMCU and Rx / Tx pins to work at this level. The USB socket is used only for firmware update.
