TCS34725 RGB Color Sensor
An IR blocking filter integrated on the chip and localized to the color sensing photodiodes minimizes the IR spectrum component of the incident light and ensures accurate color measurements. The filter allows you to get a more accurate color than most sensors because people do not see the IR. The sensor has an incredible 3,800,000: 1 dynamic range with adjustable integration time and gain, making it suitable for use behind dark tinted glass.
There is a 3.3V regulator circuit, so you can power the cut with 3-5VDC and change the level for I2C pins so that they can be used with 3.3V or 5V logic.
Arduino Wiring:
- 5V ->VIN
- GND ->GND
- SDA ->SDA
- SCL ->SCL
