The inertial measurement unit (IMU) is an electronic device that measures and reports the speed, direction, and gravitational forces of a vehicle using a combination of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers. The IMU sensor is generally used in manned and unmanned aerial vehicles to measure orientation in electronic robots that can balance autonomously.
The 10 DOF Mems IMU sensor is the DFRobot's compact and low cost IMU. ADXL345 accelerometer, HMC5883L magnetometer, ITG-3205 gyro and BMP280 barometric pressure sensor are integrated. Thanks to its small size, it is suitable for most control systems. It features a low noise LDO regulator to provide a wide range of power inputs. It works with a 3 ~ 8 volt power input. 10 DOF sensors are directly compatible with your Arduino boards.
