Arduino ECG Sensor Kit
ECGs can be extremely loud, the AD8232 Unidirectional Heart Rate Monitor functions as an op amp to help get a clear signal easily from the PR and QT Ranges.
AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It is designed to extract, amplify and filter small bio-potential signals in the presence of noisy conditions such as those generated by motion or remote electrode placement.
Arduino ECG Sensor Kit Technical Specifications
The AD8232 Heart Rate Monitor breaks nine connections from the IC where you can solder pins, wires, or other connectors. SDN, LO +, LO-, OUTPUT, 3.3V, GND provide the necessary pins to operate this monitor with an Arduino or other development board.
Also, this board has RA (Right Arm), LA (Left Arm) and RL (Right Foot) pins for attaching and using your own custom sensors. In addition, there is an LED indicator light that vibrates to the rhythm of a heartbeat. Biomedical Sensor Pads and Sensor Cable are required to use the heart monitor.
