GP2Y0A41SK0F Sharp Sensor (4cm-30cm Analog)
Sharp GP2Y0A41SK0F Distance measurement sensor between 4cm-30cm sends an infrared light to an obstacle on the opposite side and converts Tanjan value to analog voltage thanks to the special sensor on the receiver. The values given refer to measurements made with white paper reflecting 90%. However, the measurements are very close to the same values on gray paper with 18% reflection.
The voltage output of the sensor is not linear with the measured distance. More closely, it is linear with 1 / X. The sensor is also suitable for use as a proximity sensor.
