Non-Contact IR Temperature Sensor - I2C
Infrared Temperature SensorYou can measure the temperature remotely with infrared signals without touching the objects. There is MLX90614 measurement module on the card. The IR temperature probe consists of an optical system, photoelectric detector, amplifier, signal processing and output module. The optical system collects infrared radiation in the field of view and infrared radiation energy is converted into corresponding electrical signals when coupled on the photoelectric detector. After processing by the amplifier and the signal processing circuit, the signal is converted into a temperature value.
The MLX90614 is self-calibrating and has a low noise amplifier integrated into the signal processing chip. The chip itself is a 17-bit ADC and DSP device, giving accurate and reliable results. MLX90614-BCC is suitable for general use. You can choose the other version of the product for industrial use.
