CJMCU-530 VL53L0X ToF Arduino Distance Measurement Sensor Module
CJMCU-530 Distance Measurement Sensor Modulein the productToF (time of flight)VL53L0X sensor working with the principle of used. ToF Sensors work differently than other distance measurement sensors. Distance Measuring Sensors consist of an IR sender and an IR receiver. The IR rays sent by the sender hit the obstacle and reflect on the receiver. The distance is determined according to the angle of the beam coming to the receiver. However, such sensors cannot detect black objects precisely. Since the black color does not reflect light properly, the receiver has difficulty in calculating the angle.
ToF, or time of flight sensors measure the distance by calculating the time photons spend in the air. It measures how long the photons fly before the laser light leaves the sender and reaches the receiver and calculates the distance between them. Thus, it gives more accurate results than other sensors. CJMCU-530 sensor is slightly improved compared to its equivalent GY-530. You need to connect 5V to the XSH (closing pin) Pin. When the power is cut or weak, the circuit will shut down by protecting itself. You can use this pin to start and stop the sensor with the signal you send from your Arduino. The connection method of the product is as follows:
- VCC ->5V
- GND ->GND
- SCL ->A5 (SCL)
- SDA ->A4 (SDA)
CJMCU-530 VL53L0X ToF Distance Measurement Sensor Module Technical Specifications:
- Working Voltage: 5V
